Beat the Drum plot
Young Musa is orphaned after a mysterious illness strikes the village of KwaZulu Natal. To help his grandmother, Musa goes to Johannesburg with his father's last present, a drum. He hopes to earn money there and find his uncle. Soon he is confronted with the reality of life in the big city. Thanks to his positive attitude, he manages to survive and also unravel the secret of the mysterious disease.
