The Boynton Beach Bereavement Club plot
Lois, Harry, Marilyn, Sandy and Jack live in a retirement home for active seniors in Florida. After the death of a loved one, they come into contact with the Bereavement Club, where they receive emotional help. There it turns out that there are no age limits for love and infatuation.

I got this one out of the closet and I thought it was a nice film. The film contains a lot of songs that were nice to hear again.
The film itself follows a number of elderly people who rediscover love.
The cast did a great job and came across convincingly.
I found it a film that is easy to watch and made me laugh every now and then. Not a great film, but excellent to spend a lazy evening with.

I know Susan Seidelman from sympathetic and not too difficult films. And that is exactly how you can describe this film. A kind of loveboat for the elderly, only not on a boat but in a posh neighborhood in Florida. Only the film could have had a bit more depth and less predictability.
