Blackout plot
In 2003, a major power outage occurred in New York. The story is about the various events that had major consequences in an ordinary neighborhood of Brooklyn, during this power outage. Nelson is the owner of the local barbershop and an important point of contact for the neighbourhood. We see the events through his eyes and those of the columnist Claudine who lives in the neighbourhood.
