Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming plot
The story revolves around National Guard captain Ted Cogan (Rob Lowe), who has accidentally killed Iraqi civilians, who has returned from Iraq. Once home, he is visited by resentful demons. When he threatens to lose his grip on his family and his own health, he enlists the help of the equally unbalanced but psychic Jake Witzky (Zachary Bennett), in order to gain insight into his horrifying and unforgiving ghostly visions. With Witzky's advice, the traumatized veteran finally realizes what steps must be taken to free himself from the ghosts forever -- though the cost may well be greater than what he initially had in mind...
