La Fuga degli Innocenti plot

Four Jewish children, who try to flee to Palestine for fear of the Nazi regime's persecution of the Jews, arrive at a relief camp in northern Italy. There they meet with another group of refugees. Due to weather and wind under appalling conditions, they covered hundreds of kilometers on foot, after which they unexpectedly encountered the German and Italian occupiers in Yugoslavia.
