Op de Dijk plot

Visser Johan lives in Norway with his girlfriend Sara. A phone call from his native village Volendam forces him to return. There are financial problems in the family. In Volendam he sees his best friend Chris again. Johan was with him in the cafe during the New Year's fire. While Chris is scarred for life by the disaster, Johan has done reasonably well. His guilt about this is still great, but Chris is not waiting for pity. Johan's biggest wounds are deep inside and have never healed.
