Six friends and a baby set out on a sailing yacht for a weekend on the Mexican sea. They are having a great time, open some bottles of wine and then decide to take a refreshing dip. Amy, who has a serious water phobia, stays on board with Captain Dan. Soon, Dan makes an attempt to help Amy overcome her fear of water, and they end up in the water, too. But Dan's good intentions turn against him harder than he ever imagined. In his enthusiasm he forgot to hang out the ladder and no one sees a chance to get on board anymore. The paradisiacal sea is suddenly their greatest enemy, in which they float around helplessly.

So I think this is a very exciting film. I imagine what it would be like if you found yourself in such a situation. Seems really awful to me. The characters are a bit irritating at times and they also get into fights, which I think are a bit over the top, but still well done. This one euro DVD remains in my collection. Check again in a few years.

In case he wasn't mentioned already.... THE solution is of course.... (did I hear drum roll?)... to use your head. If you can reach the flag, you can reach it even more easily by making nice splashes (which is fun too), with which you make the flag quite wet, which then hangs lower. A dry sheet tears. Try getting that same sheet wet and then tearing it. If necessary, give the wet flag a few more strokes like a thick cord. There you go. I wouldn't have been in the water for 3 minutes.
