Churchill's Secret plot

During the summer of 1953, Winston Churchill suffered a stroke. The man is now well into his seventies and for the second time Prime Minister of Great Britain. The incident is kept a secret from the outside world and Nurse Millie Appleyard is summoned to an undisclosed location, where she discovers the identity of her patient. While Churchill recovers, his wife Clemmie fervently hopes he can finally retire. Meanwhile, his political friends and opponents are busy with the question of who will be his successor.
