Paradis Perdu plot
In 1913, the young Pierre falls in love with the beautiful Janine. The two soon get married, but when war breaks out, Pierre has to go to the front to defend his country. After the war, Pierre returns to find that his wife had died giving birth to their daughter, Jeannette. Pierre is having a hard time raising his daughter lovingly, the daughter who has taken from him the woman he loved...
