Lipstick on Your Collar plot

Lipstick on Your Collar is set in 1956 Britain, on the eve of major social and political changes: the Suez Crisis. The focus is on the romantic entanglements of four young people growing up around that time. The conscript soldiers Mick Hopper and Francis Francis work in the translation department of the British secret service, but mainly amuse themselves with fantasizing. They create comical and musical daydreams about their colleagues who sing and act. Francis is in love with the attractive blonde Sylvia. Hopper has his eye on the culture-interested Lisa.
