The Legend of Alfred Packer plot

Alferd Packer poses as a guide to a group of pioneers looking for silver in the Colorado mountains. After wandering in the wilderness with his clients and insisting that he knows his way around, it soon becomes apparent that the group is hopelessly lost and must spend the harsh winter in the mountains. When the food supply runs out and people start to starve, Packer decides to save himself one way or another. Even if he has to eat his customers for this!
