Eden plot
Gregor, a corpulent, eccentric chef de cuisine, runs a small restaurant on the outskirts of a town. In his spare time he often sits on a terrace, where he is served by Eden. Eden is married to Xaver and has a five-year-old daughter with Down syndrome, Leonie. Gregor first sees Leonie in the park when she is playing by the fountain and threatens to fall into it. He is very fond of her (and her mother) and decides to bake a cake with homemade chocolate for her birthday.
