The Smiling Swordsman
Revisited on Blu-ray of Eureka from the Furious Swords boxset.
A sort of Chinese Robin Hood played by the charismatic David Chiang. Along the way, he saves the life of a young woman (Lily Li), and the two briefly spend time together. She is part of a guarded transport, and they suspect hijackers are on the horizon. Later, Chiang is tricked by a gang of bandits into attacking the same transport. When he discovers this, he vows to recover the stolen goods from Lily and deal with the thugs.
There's a lot of wirework action, with the agile hero jumping all over the place or flying out of the screen, which looks pretty cool anyway.
A small role for Bolo Yeung in his film debut.
