Weird movie with a lot of screaming.

The story is okay, but the special effects aren't that good.

The acting was also a bit on the poor side.

2.5 stars

Funny, but also a bit corny. It's an old-fashioned British low-budget film from the past, with a more commonly seen concept: a group of scientists stumble upon a haunted house, and try to analyze what's going on. But also with a nice twist, as the title already reveals: the idea that a house can function as a kind of memory for what happened in it. It is apparently a BBC production, which makes me not surprising - it's solidly made and with nice actors, but the special effects are nothing to write home about and the horror aspects are quite subdued. More of a solidly made TV mystery with supernatural elements, although it does build up to a pretty nice and creepy ending.
