Pretty lame.

Always great, those cat movies. That this is a children's movie and therefore a bit bland, is clear from the poster. Kevin Spacey mainly caught my interest, I don't immediately see him in these kinds of roles, and in the end he is also minimally in the picture.

The scenes with the cat are pretty mediocre in terms of CGI and that is pretty obvious. On the other hand, it is of course quite difficult to tame such a beast. Some scenes are still funny, but unfortunately the film makes the mistake of being terribly bland again. Some characters are unbearable.

For the rest still a funny movie, that for children maybe a bit more fun than for adults. I still enjoyed myself with this movie, fortunately it doesn't last too long, otherwise it would have been even worse.

Without great expectations I watched this one and it was a nice movie. I had to laugh a few times. The cast was also well chosen. Furthermore it looked good. The story is not super original, but it was not boring either.

A nice family movie.

Sometimes you come across a film because you look at what else a certain actor is in. That's how I came across this film a few months ago thanks to Robbie Amell. I'm still annoyed that his series The Tomorrow People was canceled. I didn't have high expectations, but I was certainly curious. It's a fun and funny film, but what bothered me most were the bad special effects. When Kevin Spacey is the cat, the cat sometimes does very human things that make the cat make very strange and impossible movements. These were added as animation. Too bad, I would have liked it better if they had only done it with the real cat, which made it a bit more realistic. Now it looked fake and laughable. However, the parts with a real cat were very funny. The story itself is full of clichés, but entertaining. Definitely fun to watch with the kids (if you have them).
