Fremde Haut plot
At the risk of her life, Fariba has managed to flee her homeland of Iran where she is wanted for homosexuality. After a stay in the refugee center in Frankfurt, her asylum application is rejected. When a fellow refugee commits suicide, she assumes his identity and receives a temporary residence permit. She finds work, but struggles to keep up her masculine disguise when her colleague Anne tries to pick up on her/him.
