Shura plot

"This world is a sea of blood."

Gengo is a ronin who is deeply in debt. His loyal follower Hachiemon has raised a hefty sum of money to restore his status as a samurai. But Gengo is secretly in love with the geisha Koman, who is also in debt. Gengo wants to buy her freedom back, but that causes him a lot of misery.
