Parvaz-e Zanbur plot
The protagonist of the story in The Flight of the Bee is a middle-aged schoolmaster, who tells his students with apparent pleasure about the history and nature of his country. He is an ordinary, poor man, with a great sense of justice. He is working on a book that will be called The Flight of the Bee. His neighbor, a botterik, is filthy rich. Though separated only by a wall, the two live in completely different worlds. The rich neighbor feels great contempt for the schoolmaster. He harasses his wife and builds an open toilet right next to his house. When the stench gets too bad, the schoolmaster complains, but is immediately put at the door. Thus begins the master's fight against an unjust world. But the Public Prosecutor is also arrogant. No law has been broken, he says, and the master's anger turns on the officer. He buys a piece of land next to his house and starts digging for a huge public toilet...
