The Fast Lady plot
"She's the fastest thing in town and oh boy! what a CHASSIS!"
Murdoch Troon (Stanley Baxter), an enthusiastic member of the local cycling club, is involved in an accident with wealthy businessman Charles Chingford (James Robertson Justice). That's how he meets Chingford's daughter Claire, who tries to persuade him to give up his bike, buy a sports car and learn to drive. At first he is dismayed, but the thought that he will then be able to meet the attractive Claire a little more often makes the difference and so he starts his first driving lesson.
