Lejontämjaren plot
At school, 9-year-old Simon is bullied by Alex who is two years older than him. At home everything is just getting better now that his mother, Karin, has a new boyfriend, Björn. When it turns out that Björn is Alex's father, the situation becomes very difficult for Simon. To escape trouble, Simon creates a friendship with a lion in his fantasy world. This helps him to feel strong. Meanwhile, Alex's bullying spirals out of control. When Karin and Björn decide to move in together so that the four of them can form one big, 'cozy' family, Simon has only one thing left to do: he will make sure that it ends between his mother and Björn.
