Die HonigKuckucksKinder plot

Twelve-year-old Lena and her mother are forced to find shelter in a shelter where they find themselves between illegal immigrants and the homeless. While Lena's mother fends off any contact with fellow sufferers, Lena forges friendly bonds with a peer from Angola and a nine-year-old Ethiopian boy. Together, the three discover the illegal practices of the owner of the building.
