"Exorcism of the mind"
Schizophrenic Mirium Jones becomes estranged from her husband through his affair with a younger woman. Mirium has to take a break and leaves for the land of her dreams to find herself. When she visits an ancient basilica, she makes a deal with the devil and returns home. Mirium and her husband move to a remote place in hopes of starting over. Once there, Mirium soon begins to experience visions and when her husband suddenly disappears, she begins to wonder if she is going mad or if the devil is coming to claim his share of the deal.
