Funny situations and sayings that come into their own even more from the mouth of a super-phlegmatic Bourvil.

Successful French comedy that does not fail to be satirical about the (impoverished and lazy) aristocracy and also likes to take aim at the police apparatus. The French love to mock "les poulets".

Nicely made ironic comedy, but the problem is that the somewhat limited story is not that funny either, so it ultimately remains a bit tame.

Bourvil is well cast and Kosma's score is also very nice.
