Constance Shaw is a dancer on Broadway and Joseph Rivington Reynolds is a fan of hers. After a broken relationship, she marries him because he has convinced her that he owns a mine. This turns out not to be the case, he is only a cleaner. After disrupting several rehearsals, he is thrown out of the theater. After he manages to re-enter undetected, he hears that a bomb is about to be planted.
