What Is It? plot
"The adventures of a young man whose principle interests are snails, salt, a pipe, and how to get home. As tormented by a hubristic, racist inner psyche."
A minstrel dreams of becoming an invertebrate animal and treats himself with an elixir, which he has extracted from enzymes of worms. Unfortunately, the stuff has a particularly unpleasant side effect, and during the inevitable hallucinations, Shirley Temple's man in a Nazi suit dreams of naked men on gigantic shells and naked women in monkey masks.
