Soul of a Man, The plot

In this documentary, director Wim Wenders portrays the lives of his three favorite blues artists: Skip James, Blind Willie Johnson and JB Lenoir. Although the names don't say much at first, their influence on the music world has been great. By means of new visual material interspersed with unique old fragments, Wenders goes in search of the passion for their music. We see recordings of some concerts, moments from their personal lives and what contemporary artists have to say about their predecessors.
