Bye Bye Vietnam plot

During the height of the Vietnam War, an American platoon with young soldiers is allowed to go home. Just before the young men head home, however, a helicopter pilot disappears from the pack during a routine flight. The boys decide to look for him and delay their departure to the safe home.
