Altamira plot
"Some secrets are too powerful to hide."
In 1879, the amateur archaeologist Marcelino Sanz de Sautuola and his daughter María discover unique prehistoric cave paintings in the cave of Altamira. However, this discovery does not bring him fame, instead he is confronted with the indifference of the archaeological community and the opposition from the Catholic Church. Despite his tireless efforts to prove the authenticity of his discovery, he is called a fraud by the eminent archaeologist Émile Cartailhac.
