Johnny Kelly is dissatisfied with his job and wife. He flirts with the not so modest lady Sally 'Angel Face' (Powers), who is also unhappy. One night he decides to take a job with a corrupt lawyer, with whom he thinks he can earn the money to start a new life with Angel Face.
