A Woman's Secret plot
"I had to stop her ... at any cost ... that's why I pulled the trigger !"
Successful singer Susan (Gloria Grahame) is taken to hospital with a gunshot wound. Her friend/discoverer Marian (Maureen O'Hara) takes the blame, but her lawyer and best friend strongly doubts her story. He decides to interrogate the various individuals involved in Susan's lightning career, in an effort to discover the true facts of the tragic event.
