Gaichu plot
13-year-old Sachiko becomes estranged from the world when her mother tries to commit suicide. In addition, persistent gossip is circulating that she is in a relationship with a teacher. She no longer goes to school and her only grip is the friendship with an older boy and a much older drifter. Ultimately, attempts to get her back on track seem to be futile.
