El Gran Calavera plot
The frugal family of a rich man is annoyed by his money-wasting and alcohol-intensive lifestyle. They think they can change this behavior by tricking him into believing that his entire fortune is gone. As a result, he lives in poverty in Mexico for a while until he discovers that his family has set him up. He decides to pretend his nose is bleeding in order to teach his family, who he considers lazy, worthless parasites, a lesson.
