Come-Back plot

Ab Goeree (Theu Boermans) is a young, alternative and obsessed saxophonist. He has a serious accident in which he breaks his back. However, he only gets to know this late and only after a serious argument with a doctor who treats him. Gloomy and depressed towards himself, recalcitrant and rebellious towards the rest of the world, he cuts off all contact. Among others with his steady girlfriend.

Theu Boermans does a great job in this drama, which also functions as an information film and also places a critical note ('pun intended') here and there on care for the disabled.

Definitely a bit on the long side by today's standards, but apart from that well made with sometimes striking shots by cameraman Egbert Altena.
