Street performers in London make a little money performing for people waiting in line at the theatre. Charles, who recites stage monologues, sees that the young pickpocket Libby also has a talent for dancing. He includes her in his act. A songwriter, initially a victim of Libby's practices, is impressed by the street performers and invites them to perform at his home for dinner. When Charles doesn't accept the invitation, Libby goes alone...
