Dwaalgast plot

In the psychological thriller Dwaalgast, Monic Hendrickx plays psychologist Hester, the perfectionist. When her boyfriend has left after an argument, she finds a teenage runaway, Puck, in the barn. Out of pity, she takes the erratic but charming girl into her house to give Puck more structure in life. Puck makes the house completely his own. Until Hester asks her to participate in a scientific study that evokes recurring images in Puck of chaotic and traumatic events in her life. Slowly Hester realizes that she has taken a wrong turn, for which she will eventually pay a high price.
