1880 New Mexico. Louise (Brigitte Bardot), nicknamed Frenchie King, forms an outlaw gang with her four sisters. After yet another robbery on a train, they find the title deed of a ranch among the loot. They decide to settle there, but encounter much opposition from Maria Sarrazin (Claudia Cardinale), who is in charge of another gang of thugs with her four brothers. Maria uses her influence on the local sheriff to scare Louise away. After all, she has discovered that there is oil in the ground under the ranch. But in the meantime it appears that her brothers find it difficult to resist the charms of Louise's sisters.
