Le Grand Pardon plot
Many refugees were forced to leave Algeria during the war of independence. Eventually they ended up in France. Including a group of gangsters who respect no one. At the head of that organization is Raymond Bettoun (Roger Hanin) 50 years old, with the stature of an athlete, jovial and amiable, good social skills and afflicted with aggressive moods. As dictators, he and his family rule Paris by night; the prostitution, the casinos. His grandson's baptism is the opportunity to display his power, organizational skills and pageantry.
