"The perfect soldiers are the ones who can not be killed!"

In the American Civil War, the 51st Alabama Regiment of the Confederacy fell prey to a horrific defeat at Catum's Creek. A thought-dead Confederate officer, Colonel Nehemiah Strayn, is the only one of the slain soldiers who can tell. He is approached by a Union officer to solve the riddle of another massacre, in the very same location. Now, Northern soldiers are hanged from X-shaped crosses and ritually murdered by strangers. Strayn finds out that it must be voodoo.
