La Prima Notte di Quiete plot
Daniele Dominici (Alain Delon) is a depressed young art history teacher at the lyceum in Rimini, who earns money by gambling. He has just published a book called 'La Prima Notte di Quiete', in which he describes death as the night that brings peace. He soon abandons his wife to start a relationship with the stunning student Vanina (Sonia Petrovna), which lands him in unexpectedly dark circumstances. He also spends the evenings in the company of semi-criminal friends. Daniele's love triangle has far-reaching consequences.
