Henry Fool plot
"An honest man is always in trouble..."
A shy garbage collector, Simon Grimm, who always seems to be the laughing stock, is widely scorned and bullied by neighbors. Neither his mother nor his sister offer any comfort. The first to believe in him is Henry Fool, a chain-smoking pub tiger and self-proclaimed writer's genius, seemingly brimming with confidence. Fool moves into the Grimm's basement apartment and encourages Simon to write too. The unexpected result of this is a huge poem that brings Simon world fame. Fool's life's work, on the other hand, is dismissed as pretentious nonsense. That puts their friendship to the test.
