Himawari plot

While his girlfriend is about to leave him, Teruaki learns on the TV news that Tomomi Manabe has gone missing after a boating accident, most likely dead. Tomomi was a classmate of Teruaki's in elementary school and she left a message on Teruaki's voicemail just days before the accident. Then another former classmate who cannot attend the funeral himself asks Teruaki to gather the other former classmates for the funeral. Together, they reminisce about childhood as the history of Tomomi and Teruaki unfolds.
