Blizna plot
1970. After many discussions and negotiations, a decision is made about the location of a new large chemical plant. Bednarz, an honest party man, is put in charge of the construction. He used to live in the small town where the factory will be built, but has bad memories of it. He initially tries to take the wishes of the residents into account as much as possible. However, the townspeople only think about their short-term needs and this conflicts with Bednarz's good intentions. In the end, disillusioned, he is forced to give up his job.

Good in design (cinematography, soundtrack), but the screenplay is weak. The story is a bit messy, the dialogues are not very interesting, and the main character cannot really interest you because you hardly get a picture of his motives or ideals, nor of his feelings about the whole situation. Fortunately, Kieslowski would later show that he can do much better, and in itself this is not a bad thing to grab for those who run into it.
