A young couple lives in a big city. She is lively. She wants to be happy and have fun. He is the father of the child, a writer, whose life has come to a standstill. Nobody wants to publish their work. His artistic aspirations disappear with every refusal of a publisher. He spends the whole day on the sofa reading. The young woman doesn't like that. She wants more out of her life. She encourages him to do more. Then her in-laws want to visit. They want to see their grandchild. She decides to go out, she doesn't feel like it...
