Mediocre film about two lesbian vampires who live in a large castle. This erotic horror film has very little to offer. It doesn't get exciting anywhere and it's all way too slow. Atmospheric here and there and the naked ladies and beautiful location make this just worth 2.5 stars.

From a time when eroticism still found its way into rough B-movies. A movie about vampires was something for adults anyway, so it wasn't a problem to drag in the necessary nudity. We are now somewhat normal and this is not much shocking. Vampyres is a low budget b-movie with unknown faces. But the atmosphere is good in a mix between a dreamy fog and baroque gothic. With appropriate music. Not that it is suddenly a strong film, but it does make up for a lot.
