Isabel plot

"Suddenly Isabel was afraid — afraid of becoming a woman."

Isabel learns that her mother is seriously ill. She rushes home, but arrives too late and discovers that her mother has left behind a whole host of problems: caring for an old uncle and entrusting the farm to capable hands. Day after day, painful memories become more real, with a number of supernatural events on top of that.
