"1953 Was a Good Year for Leaving Home"
Greenwich Village, 1953. Larry Lapinski thinks it's time to leave home and move to Greenwich Village, a trendy neighborhood in New York. Larry dreams of becoming a star actor and fills his days with auditions and to make ends meet at lunchtime making smoothies for customers in a grocery store. He lives a quiet life with his girlfriend Sarah and enjoys his independence. However, their relationship has quite a few ups and downs. Larry tries to maintain a relationship with his girlfriend Sarah and regularly stays in local coffee shops with some friends.
