This is a very solid documentary. I thought it was a shame that the film gave a rather one-sided view of James Dean, but I must admit that the East of Eden outtakes were very fascinating. I was also very charmed by the situations they depicted around the Hollywood of that time, the rise of the method actors and Dean's place in it.
