The title and the poster promise little good and this film keeps its promise. Incidentally, it starts off as a reasonably interesting mystery, but as soon as the first victims fall, the intrigue is over and this horror film slowly but surely works towards a finale that is completely ridiculous and completely unconvincing. Silly special effects tie in with a silly scenario.

No, I didn't really like this. A real 50s B-movie with ridiculous looking monsters. The special effects look awful. The decors are clearly cardboard creations. And those conversations.... Guys right. I laughed at the conversation between Alan and the journalist after the latter asked how to use his molotovs. "Light the rag and throw at those things" was the deadly serious answer, after which the journalist looked at him in astonishment.

2*

You know roughly what to expect, but the terribly long run-up to it ends here very disappointingly even before then.
