The World in His Arms plot
"A salty sea captain, a beautiful Russian countess, and the love that would span an ocean."
San Francisco, 1850. A seal hunter meets a Russian and falls in love with her. He does not know that she is a countess who has been married off and who is on the run for this reason. When she turns out to have been kidnapped to Alaska the next day, the hunter makes every effort to find her.
