When sculptor Paul Wyler meets the young Laura, he is quite upset. Not surprising, because she is the spitting image of her mother Sarah, Paul's great childhood sweetheart. He would like to make a statue of her. Sarah is jealous and agrees on the condition that he works from photos. Then Paul has an accident and the statue will never be finished. But Laura has a solution for that.
